I have been an active member of OLOC for 14 years and have attended all of OLOC's national gatherings (except for the first) and have experienced peer warmth and have benefited from a myriad of workshops, speakers and forums. I like being with lesbians 60 and over who have reclaimed the word "old" as a positive description of ourselves and others like us.
I am eager to write this letter because I have been able to refine my knowledge of end of life issues, which takes on a particular immediacy as we mature, and in the light of a lack of full acceptance by the greater heterosexual community. I am pleased to be part of an organization like OLOC that disseminates information against ageism classism, and racism.
Please support this unique organization. In so doing you will be supporting three marginal groups - women, lesbians, and the elderly with just one donation !!!!
