Dear OLOC sisters: December 2013

I love OLOC because it brings together Old Lesbian feminists to talk about our issues, take political action, and support each other. I contributed to the start of OLOC in 1989. Since then I have gone to every National Gathering. Over the past 25 years I have made a lot of good friends at Gatherings who I keep up with through the Internet.

I could not have met all these fabulous women without the help of financial assistance to cover a portion of my airfare, registration, and food to the National Gatherings. In addition, as I have gotten older, I have needed a scooter at the Gatherings in order to navigate the hotel space. That adds another cost. There are many Old Lesbians in similar situations financially.

I urge anyone who can to donate generously to OLOC, including extra funds designated for OLOC's financial assistance fund so that all of us can continue to be a part of the National Gatherings.
